HOW  TO  GET  TO  CAMP  CASEY  CONFERENCE  CENTER  ON  WHIDBEY  ISLAND,  WASHINGTON

BY CAR
To drive to Camp Casey, set your GPS to take you to 1276 Engle Road, Coupeville, WA 98239.
Go to south entrance of Camp Casey which is just south of the swimming pool past the soccer fields. Or, we can send you printed turn-by-turn directions from your address and a full-color map with the route highlighted. Just send $5.00 to cover the cost of printing and mailing it to you.  Our office address is: NorthWest Herb Symposium, 23703 NE 4th Street, Sammamish, WA  98074-3612.

Driving Directions from the North
Exit off I-5 at the exit for Anacortes/Whidbey Island (Exit #230) and continue on Washington State Route 20 for 11.4 miles. Keep left on State Route 20/WA-20 towards Fidalgo Island and Oak Harbor.  Continue south over Deception Pass Bridge and through Oak Harbor to Coupeville. At the pedestrian overpass and traffic light, turn south (right) on South Main Street. Follow signs to Fort Casey State Park. You will arrive at the south entrance of Camp Casey Conference Center just before reaching the state park.

Directions from the Seattle Area
Take Exit #182 off I-5 onto Highway 525 West. Continue to the Mukilteo Ferry. Take the ferry to Whidbey Island and travel North for 22 miles on Highway 525. Turn left at the sign for Fort Casey State Park. Continue to the Keystone Ferry dock and turn right on Engle Road.
Do not go into the state park. From there, the south entrance to  Camp Casey Conference Center is just 500 yards on the left at the bus stop shelter.

Driving from Oregon and Southwest Washington
We recommend you avoid the traffic in Seattle and Tacoma by driving north on I-5 to Exit #104 (just south of Olympia). Take this exit onto Highway 101 and continue north to Port Townsend, WA. From Port Townsend take the ferry across Puget Sound to Whidbey Island. From the ferry landing go left onto Engle Road north for 500 yards to the south entrance of Camp Casey Conference Center on your left. Do not go into the state park. Look for the bus stop shelter on the left.

If you are attending an Herbal Intensive Class on Thursday afternoon, you will need to take the 11:45 am ferry out of Port Townsend. This will get you there in time for the lunch which is included with your fee for the intensive. We recommend that you phone for a ferry space reservation:
888-808-7977.  You can get more details at this website:
